The Citymapper live activity is featured on the big screen at an Apple iPhone event

Apple asked Citymapper to demonstrate how we’d use new features coming to iOS 16 and iPhone 14.

In 7 days, we re-imagined navigation for Live Activities to produce over 360 localised graphics for review and were ultimately featured on stage and in product marketing.

Later, I supported our iOS developers to be amongst the first apps to ship a live activity on Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

Reducing Citymapper’s GO mode to the most essential guidance for any moment of a journey gave us glanceable directions, suiting the way we use our phones while on the move.

Besides being seen on stage, I had the honour to debut the first dark mode styles ever seen in Citymapper and to get an impassioned shout-out on the Cortex podcast.
