I have volunteered myself to help out the The Big Draw event at the Fitzwilliam Museum on October 23rd 2010, I’m not sure what I will be doing though it’s all about helping children get in to drawing and having fun doing more, well, drawing. It sounds like fun, and I too wish people would draw more and if I can get just one child to grow up never saying “I wish I could draw,” and instead actually getting on with trying, I will be a happy man.

The particular event is named “Lord Fitzwilliam and the Cambridge Quest” and will be on from 10.30am – 4pm, it’s free and open to the public. Described as:

An interactive drawing and reading adventure between the Central Library and The Fitzwilliam Museum. Designed and run with Art students from ARU.

Can’t wait!
