Make no bones about it, I’m a designer with enough working knowledge of the web to build my own website. I’m not a fully fledged web designer but I give it a bleddy good go and I read about all the really dull subjects that tend to put normal people off talking to me…

This is my new site and I hope it makes more sense than previously! It hasn’t changed a great deal, it’s just realised its potential. I’m really enjoying this blogging thing and attracting more visitors than I ever expected, so I assume you’re also enjoying me enjoying this blogging thing, too. That’s why I have bothered to make everything make sense.

What began as a playground for me to try new things became a playground with a functional blog attached like a malformed appendage. That just wouldn’t do! So here we are with a fresh, updated look and a few more things up to standard.

For those interested in web design, I am using the HTML5 doctype, lots of lovely CSS3 and the only JavaScript so far is to fix transparent .png issues in IE6 and perhaps Google Analytics, and that Twitter feed you see over there.

So that’s it really, just wanted to thank my many visitors who make this worthwhile and allow me to speak like somebody’s listening! Apologies for not having posted in a month, I have lots to catch up with, but it’s all coming and it’s all interesting—promise.
