I built this fixed-layout, read aloud, ePUB 3 template because there was simply no single place I could find everything I needed to understand and learn how they work. Now there is.

Admittedly, this may not be a document for the faint-hearted, but if you like a bit of code and fancy yourself a problem-solver, dig in. I’ve added comments for the not-so-obvious markup.

You’ll need a few things if you’re a complete beginner, and I’ve written about my amateur hour, so go read the post that explains the story of Blank Book if you need to.

Spreads from Boyhood, a children’s book I made. Initially created for my degree and eventually Highly Commended in The Macmillan Prize 2012.

The story of a boy whose life is rather grey and rainy, who puts on armour to protect himself from his worries and fears, until he meets a girl who takes it all off again and jumps in puddles, essentially.

Restauranto is a short film based on an event that happened whilst visiting Seville. Although no pizza was stolen from me, I think my disgust and discomfort has been conveyed.

This is my first stop-motion animation, I hope not the last.
