Fantastic work. Very excited to see a story forming here, and all illustrated in such a darkly charming fashion. Do hope you keep with this character.

Thanks Ry, we should talk character design more often. This is an interesting project, we are currently ‘telling tales’ through drawing objects, so I'm really glad you can read so much into the stool (I've been enjoying how wrong that sounds too).

I agree with the above comment, these recent sketches have a really lovely almost timeless quality about them that I really like. I can't wait to see where this journey of lines and colour takes you next, great work man.

I really like the stool (sounding so wrong there). Love the shadowing and playful detail within the wood. It has a place within an old world storybook, situated in a low beamed inn by a roaring fire. Potentially your friend Mr Schuster would be there too. Seems like a very interesting character but want to see you explore more detail in the face and clothing. Definitely onto a winner with him though! Keep us updated as you go!

HA! I can't believe you would denounce acrylic paint like that. But yeah, I intend to ink a few up when the print room is open again. That will be late January, though…
